Cure For Sanity (1990)
|
|
Released at the height of the 'Summer of Love', Cure For
Sanity saw the band expand thei music to encompass elements of
trance and Italian House. With four strong singles released off
the album, PWEI started getting more and more radio play, and
their popularity incresed steadily, with numerous TV appearances.
Musically, the album is less hard-hitting than This is the Day,
with its laid-back, dreamy attitude, and increased use of TV
and film samples as opposed to the music samples used previously.
The lawyers were starting to realise that money could be made
through sample spotting!
