Signing to the newly created independent label, Infectious, in the UK and to the Nothing label in the US, PWEI actually came out of the RCA period in a much stronger position. They hype surrounding their departure pushed Get the Girl! up to Number 9 in the UK charts - their higest position to date. Now the band felt they could create the album they wanted to and supplied an Industrial soundtrack to the political nightmare of 1990's Britain. The album is their darkest to date and shows a maturity of themes not seen before in their body of work. Dos Dedos further provided the band with an opportunity to gain worldwide respect, which they grasped with the heavy world tour that year.
